Flow.
Have you ever had the feeling of, during a certain activity, that the time just flies and you feel like you are in your exact right element? Then you might have experienced flow.
Flow is a state of mind, in which a person becomes fully immersed in an activity. Every action, movement, and thought follows inevitably from the previous one. Your whole being is involved, and you’re using your skills to the utmost.
Riding and being together with your horse is an activity that often demands all your attention. When you let yourself be present and really connect with your horse and the activity, you will more easily get into the state of flow.
There are some exercises that will help you to get there more than others, like the exercise above. Try ro ride with soft turns and even pace and find your flow!
